Christians vs Christians

One Faith

Christianity began as a unified movement, but over time it fragmented into thousands of denominations. From Catholics and Protestants to Orthodox and Pentecostals, the diversity is staggering. Each group has its own interpretations of the Bible, religious practices, and doctrines. They all claim to be the true followers of Christ, yet their teachings often contradict one another. The Holy Scriptures say: “There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all” (Ephesians 4:5-6). However, the reality is that Christianity has split into thousands of sects and denominations, each with its own interpretation of the faith. God is one, His Word is one, the faith is one, and His Holy Spirit is one. Therefore, differing interpretations cannot exist, because the Holy Spirit cannot contradict Himself, and the Word of God is only one. Any religious site that claims to possess the truth, but whose behavior contradicts what the Bible teaches, is a false site, and its followers are deceived by the enemy of souls.

One Lord

Jesus is the only way to God. He said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). However, many Christian denominations teach that there are other paths to God, such as faith in Mary, in saints, the prosperity gospel, and even tithing as law. Each group presents its own version of Jesus and its own interpretation of the Bible, but truth is objective and cannot be changed by human opinions, emotions, or sensations. God will always be the same yesterday, today, and forever; he is not a man that he should change his mind (Numbers 23:19). The Bible is clear: there is only one Lord, one way, one truth, and one life. Any teaching that contradicts this is false and deceptive.

One Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is one, and there cannot be two different spirits. He is the only one who guides true Christians toward the truth. The Holy Scriptures tell us that the Holy Spirit is the one who guides us, convicts us of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). But if multiple interpretations of the faith exist, how can there be only one Holy Spirit? The Bible is clear: “There is one body and one Spirit” (Ephesians 4:4). If there are multiple interpretations of the faith, then they do not come from the one Holy Spirit. Therefore, any group that teaches a faith different from the true faith of Christ is being guided by a false and lying spirit. As true children of God, we must seek the truth in the Word of God and not in human opinions. We have the Holy Scriptures to guide us and the Holy Spirit to enlighten us. Paul teaches us that we must examine everything, hold fast to what is good, and abstain from every form of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:21-22). We must learn directly from God, not wait for others to teach us what contradicts His Word. Just as children know their parents, we have even more reason to know our heavenly Father. “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33).

One Only God

God is one, and there cannot exist another different from Him. Jesus is one, and there cannot exist another different from Him. The Holy Spirit is one, and there cannot exist another different from Him. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one: one single divine essence, one single supreme Being, one single true God, creator and Lord of all things. Anyone who shows us a different God, a different Jesus, or a different Holy Spirit, let them be accursed, as Paul affirms in his letters: “If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed” (Galatians 1:9). The prophets preached and taught about only one God, the apostles preached and taught about only one Jesus, and they were all witnesses to only one Holy Spirit. If the Christian community is divided into thousands of sects, it is because it is corrupted; it is not part of the church of Christ, but human centers that follow a false faith and false gods, claiming to follow the true God when, in reality, they only follow the teachings of men and of demons, drawing the unwary into perdition. As the Scriptures say: “If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit” (Matthew 15:14).

Conclusion

Christianity has been divided into thousands of sects and denominations, each with its own interpretation of the faith. However, truth is objective and cannot be changed by human opinions. God is one, Jesus is the only way to God, the Holy Spirit is one, and any teaching that contradicts this is false and deceptive. As true children of God, we must seek the truth in the Word of God and not in human opinions. We have the Holy Scriptures to guide us and the Holy Spirit to enlighten us. We must learn directly from God, not wait for others to teach us what His Word says. Just as children know their parents, we have even more reason to know our heavenly Father.
